Guided Smugglers Walks

To celebrate the relaunch of ‘Up The Steps’, a smugglers ‘Tale of Old Aldeburgh’ by Aldeburgh’s well known GP Dr Nora Acheson, Black Knight Historical will take you on a guided Smugglers Walk around Aldeburgh to locations from the book. Each guided walk will last around one hour and is suitable for all the family.

Dr Nora Acheson and her husband, also a GP, had their practice in the town from 1931 to 1981. It is their beloved dog Snooks, who watches over the children’s boating pond.

Walks start from outside the Moot Hall. 10am-3pm on 24 and 25 August, starting at approximately half-hour intervals. No booking required. FREE.
