We have plenty of exciting activities happening at Dunwich Museum this spring, starting with our ‘Kid’s Club’ which takes place on Saturday 23rd of April 10am-12pm. All children are invited to come along and join in the fun of planting Medieval herbs in the new raised beds at Greyfriars Monastery – all for free!

This year Dunwich Museum has also collaborated with the organisation Art Branches to create a new and exciting programme called ‘Chronicles of Greyfriars’. Our programme includes a series of events held over the spring half-term involving pop-up workshops inviting those of all ages to come along and look/explore the local geology of Dunwich, meet different artists, and have the chance to create own art works. The dates for the events are as follows: Tuesday 19th April, Monday 30th May and Wednesday 1st June. The events are free of charge, though donations are welcome.
Finally, as winter is now behind us, the museum has undergone its spring clean and awaiting visitors old and new to drop in and discover our collections. Like our events, the museum is free and inclusive for all to come and enjoy – we would love to see plenty of faces through our doors again this year.
