Peter Senior, Chair of Parham Airfield Museum, tells us more:
“In June we had a series of visits from Americans undertaking a cruise to wartime sites in East Anglia and northern Europe, organised by the National World War Two Museum in New Orleans. We welcomed a total of eight coach loads of visitors over two days!”
“The party included 390th Bomb Group veteran Chuck Richardson, who flew from Framlingham and published his memoirs entitled 35 Missions to Hell and Back. Chuck signed our veterans’ wall in our memorial chapel.”
“We have also had various primary and secondary schools visiting the museum including Year 8 students from Thomas Mills High School.”
