Emily Shepperson, Exhibition and Interpretation Officer at Suffolk Archives, writes:
“On Thursday 28 March 10-4pm, we are hosting a free CPD study day at The Hold, Ipswich covering how heritage and culture organisations can explore and celebrate stories of migration past and present.”
“As part of Suffolk Archives NLHF funded project Arrivals, this study day is aimed at staff and volunteers working in heritage, culture, arts and volunteering organisations and venues. It would be particularly useful for organisations or practitioners who are interested in starting, or expanding their work and collections exploring migration, refugees and celebrating different cultures.”
“We will be joined by the Migration Museum who will talk about their work and future plans, as well as a selection of presentations from local museums and organisations working on themes of migration.”
“Refreshments will be provided and a limited number of travel bursaries are available.”
“Full details of the event and free booking is available here.”
