Creative Heritage & Art in Mind is a Heritage Lottery funded heritage and arts in mental health project offering courses across four Suffolk museums:
- Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury
- Moyse’s Hall in Bury St Edmunds
- Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket
- Ipswich Museum
Led by community artist Juliet Lockhart, the courses have looked out how different artists collect and gather material and how their work is influenced by museum collections. The settings offer a safe and stimulating environment for people to explore their creative skills and develop individual artworks inspired by the buildings, objects and stories around them.
