The team at Parham are pleased to now be open again for the new season and have lots of exciting events planned and special visitors booked in.
On 14th May they will have the official opening of the new Exhibition Hall. The new building has taken almost 2 years to complete and has been a big project for the small museum but it is an excellent addition; the team are always trying to expand and improve the visitor offer.
The Kindred Exhibition Hall features an impressive WWII timeline wall, displays on British resistance, weapons, uniforms and much more. Around 70 guests are invited to the opening service and lunch, including descendants of the 390th Bomb Group from America and descendants of Auxiliers from “Churchill’s Underground Army”. In the afternoon, the museum will also be open to members of the public from 1-4pm. There will be an impressive display of visiting military vehicles.
Parham do not charge any admission fees and rely on donations. They are very proud of consistently high praise from visitors on their Trip Advisor page.
If you haven’t visited Parham for a while, why not pop in and see the team soon? The museums is only 1 mile from the A12 at Little Glemham.
