Over 60 aircraft, both military and civil, fixed wing and rotary, from the pioneering years to the present day. 25,000 artefacts of every description can also be viewed within three hangars and seven themed buildings, including RAF Bomber Command, Air-Sea Rescue, Royal Observer Corps, 446 Bomb Group USAAF.
Special displays include Link Trainers, Boulton & Paul, RAF Decoy Crews, aircraft models, 1940s Home Front and wreckology. Exhibits include aero engines, weaponry, uniforms, personal effects, and everything connected with aviation.
