Clifford Road Tunnels

Discovered in 1989, the Clifford Road air raid shelter is a unique example of public shelters which were once common place in towns during the Second World War.

The shelter has been equipped as a Second World War museum and is open to the public. An education service provides special facilities for school parties of all ages.
