The redeveloped Museum and Galleries are due to open to the public on Monday 21 November. This follows a multi-million-pound project to restore Gainsborough’s historic house and build new art galleries in a brand-new building at the back of the site.
Guests using the Landscape Studio, an event space in the new building, will be able to look out and see the landscape that Gainsborough saw nearly 300 years ago.
