Vintage Motorbikes at the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum
If vintage motorcycles – that’s two-wheeled machines that are more than 25 years old – are your thing then you need to be at the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum on the 13th of August for another mechanically themed Open Day. This time up to 20 preserved and maintained motorbikes will be on show that date from before 1998 – most will be British so you can expect to see the like of Triumphs, BSA’s, Royal Enfields and Norton – but there may also be the odd Honda, Suzuki or Kawasaki hidden somewhere in the mix as well.
The Museum site will be fully open as usual from 10am through to 4pm on the day, with all the aircraft, cockpits and equipment displays, the 446th, Air Sea Rescue and ROC buildings all open and Museum Volunteers on hand to explain the thousands of aviation related items that make up the Museum Collection.
