Thrills and Grills

When: August 1, 2023 to August 30, 2023 Time: 9.45am to 4pm Venue: Food Museum Address: The Food Museum, Iliffe Way, Stowmarket IP14 1SL, UK Cost: £35 non-members, £30 members (lunch is included) Suitable for: 7-11 year olds Event category: Craft and Making ,Summer in Suffolk Museums

Pasta, paella, pizzas! Come and feel the heat in our summer cooking programme!

Come for a full day of cooking with professional chef and cooking tutor Jake Barwood. Making full use of our wood-fired oven, open fire pit and outdoor cooking area, you will work together with new friends to prepare tasty food from scratch.

Each day you will cook a different lunch and afternoon treat, learn professional chef skills and gather freshly grown fruit and vegetables from the Food Museum garden.

Running on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August: 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th.

Free places will be made available for recipients of free school meals pending funding, for more details email learning@foodmuseum.org.uk
