Summer at the Museum

August is a great month in Aldeburgh. There’s the carnival, fun things to do and see for everyone at the museum.

* Archaeology Exhibition: On special loan from a private collection is the famous Anglo-Saxon Bradwell Warrior. FREE with normal entrance fee.
* Children’s Activities: Every Tuesday afternoon from 1-4pm during August the museum’s Learning Officer will be in the museum hosting Hands on Activities for children. Have a go at making an Anglo-Saxon necklace and try your hand at our handling collection. What will you discover? FREE with normal entrance fee.
* The Yarnsmith Returns: Sit under a medieval tent and be enthralled by the storytellers exciting tales. Suitable for all ages. From 17th – 19th August outside the Moot Hall, Aldeburgh, from 1-4pm . FREE – no booking required.
* Let Snooks, Aldeburgh’s famous dog take YOU for a walk around the town environs. Pick up your FREE copy from the museum shop.
