Spooky Stories by the Fireplace (ages 7-11+)

When: October 29, 2024 Time: 1pm to 3pm Venue: Spooky Stories by the Fireplace (ages 7-11+) Address: Cost: £10 per child, accompanying adult goes free Suitable for: 7-11 Event category: Families

The Grey Lady is waiting for you by the fireside!

Join in on a story hunt around the ancient walls and eerie paintings of the Guildhall Banqueting Hall. The clues you discover will help create a brand-new story that’s never been heard before.

Local storyteller Lynn Whitehead, embodying the legendary Grey Lady, has captivated audiences in Bury St Edmunds for years, delighting both adults and children. As an experienced performer and teacher, she is one of the town’s registered tour guides. You may have seen her in schools or at West Stow, dressed in full Anglo-Saxon attire, helping Spinning Wheel Theatre bring stories of the past to life. Don’t miss this thrilling experience!

Times: 1pm-1:40pm or 2pm-2:40pm
All children must be accompanied by an adult
