Party at the Palace

When: August 7, 2021 Time: 11:00am to 3:00pm Venue: National Horseracing Museum Address: 2 Palace St, Newmarket CB8 8EP, UK Cost: Free - £15 Suitable for: All ages

The National Horse Racing Museum is having a party to celebrate its 350th birthday! Step back in time and immerse yourself in the decadence of the restoration period with a multi-sensory, living history event, recreating the era through re-enactment, sights, sounds, tastes and smells.

Have fun with 17th century children’s games, including dice and sword play. Join the musketeers sword school and become a swash buckler for the day!

There will also be a Punch and Judy show, archery sessions and a Farmer’s market stocking the best of British produce.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to re-live life in the 17th century – stories will be told, muskets will be fired and dances will be danced!
