Museum Secrets – Conservation Of The Taddei Tondo
Museum secrets delves behind the closed doors of Ipswich Museums to get under the skin of what we do. They give you the chance to meet our staff and learn about their work, or discover some of the characters who used to work and live in our buildings.
Come and meet Duty Officer Carrie Willis and learn more about the process of conserving the 100kg plaster copy of Michelangelo’s Taddei Tondo ready for display in the Kiss and Tell exhibition. Be amazed at the transformation and see if you can spot the repair lines.
