Make an Anglo-Saxon Necklace

An exciting new archaeological display, celebrating the Anglo-Saxons will be coming to Aldeburgh Museum featuring artefacts from private collections and local detectorists finds.

To celebrate the arrival of this new display, Aldeburgh Museum will be teaching visitors how to make a replica Anglo-Saxon necklace on Saturday 16th April and Monday 18th April.

There will also be a series of fun activities every day until the end of May to celebrate the launch of the book ‘Super Silly Museums’ written by the very popular children’s author Nick Sharratt.

This activity is free with admission and can be collected from the front desk on arrival. The book will also be available to purchase in the museum shop.
