IMYA Presents: Printing Colour, Shape and Pattern
Join the Ipswich Museum Young Associates and printmaker Sarah Nkugwa from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for an inspiring creative workshop at Christchurch Mansion, exploring the Colour, Shape and Pattern exhibition. This free museum late is a creative session inviting participants aged 16-25 to look at and respond to the exhibition through experimental printmaking techniques, encouraging playful exploration of colour, shape and pattern in a relaxed and inclusive space.
If this isn’t for you…feel free to wonder round the exhibition and hang out in the space! There will be some food, music and a quiet space for you to relax and enjoy being in a young person’s exclusive event.
The Ipswich Museums Young Associates (IMYA) are a group of young people aged 16-25 who organise a series of free events for other young people within this age bracket. This event is the launch of a series of events starting at Christchurch Mansion and moving to the newly refurbed Ipswich Museum when it reopens.
IMYA events are to be informative, inclusive, welcoming, bright, interesting, fun, relaxing, inspiring, friendly and a place for making memories.
Spaces are limited so go ahead and book your place now!
