HORSEPLAY: Horse Games
Join us for a fun filled day at the National Horseracing Museum watching a variety of lesser-known equine sports in the Peter O’Sullevan Arena. The day starts with Arena Polo, an equestrian ball game display, at 10:30am, followed by further demonstrations at 11:30am, 1pm and 2pm. In the afternoon there is a chance to reminisce old school sports days, as you watch the local Pony Club Mounted Games Teams compete against one another in diverse relay races. This fast-paced, thrilling equine sport combines hand eye co-ordination, adrenaline, and speed that will have everyone sat on the edge of their seats!
While visiting the museum you will also have the opportunity to ‘Meet and Greet’ our resident ex-racehorses, have a go at some ‘Stick and Ball’ on the ground, pick up the reins to ride our racing simulator or have a go at hobby horse riding.
