Green Therapy Summer Course at The Food Museum

When: July 13, 2026 to September 2, 2026 Time: 10:00 am to 01:00 pm Cost: FREE Suitable for: Adult Event category: Walk/Outdoors

Venue: Food Museum, Stowmarket

Join us in July for our Green Therapy Summer Course which runs for 8 weeks over our busy summer period. Our course is open to adults who feel that time spent in nature would be beneficial to their well being, mental and physical health.

Working across our beautiful 84-acre estate, you’ll help develop and restore habitats while connecting with nature and fellow participants. Engage in hands-on growing, gardening and habitat restoration work throughout our estate. On challenging weather days, we’ll make use of our covered spaces for activities such as compost production and planting.

We’ll mark the end of the course with a celebration event around our wood-fired pizza oven.

This is primarily an outdoor course, so please come prepared for all weather conditions. You will need to dress appropriately in layers, wear waterproof outer wear and suitable footwear. Thick-soled walking boots or gardening shoes are essential for your comfort and safety while working outdoors.

You can chose to attend either our Monday or Wednesday group. Both run mornings 10.00am till 1.00pm.
