Farrier Competition at NHRM

When: August 28, 2021 Time: 11:00am to 3:00pm Venue: National Horseracing Museum Address: 2 Palace St, Newmarket CB8 8EP, UK Cost: Normal admission

Last year’s Farrier competition was such a huge success that the National Horse Racing Museum is hosting their second annual competition on Saturday, 28th August.

Farriery, or the shoeing of horses and similar animals, is an ancient craft, believed to have been practised first in the Roman Empire. Come and support the competitors as their blacksmith skills are put to the test!
