Eastern Region Citroen Car Club visit to NASAM

When: April 23, 2023 Time: 10:00 am to 04:00 pm Venue: Eastern Region Citroen Car Club visit to NASAM Address: Cost: Free to Enter - and Free Parking! Suitable for: All ages welcome. Wheelchair and dog friendly. Event category: Days Out

The Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum is pleased to be able to host an exciting visit from the Eastern Region of the Citroen Car Club who we expect to have around twenty of their restored, gleaming cars, vans and trucks on display among our vintage aircraft. With a little sunshine, the effect of restored aircraft and restored cars together in the same place will be worth plenty of photos.

The Citroën Car Club, together with 2cvGB and the Traction Owners Club were together awarded the prestigious “Owners Club of the Year” award after their joint presence at the British Motor Show which was held in Farnborough in August 2022. The Eastern Region of the Club meet together every month – and has chosen NASAM as their meeting point for their April gathering.

The Museum site will be fully open as usual from 10am through to 4pm on the day, with all the aircraft, cockpits and equipment displays, the 446th, Air Sea Rescue and ROC buildings all open and Museum Volunteers on hand to explain the thousands of aviation related items that make up the Museum Collection.

The NAAFI will be open for the serious business of tea (or coffee) and cake, and the shop will be offering a wide range of aviation related goodies to help you make the most of your day.

Entrance to the Museum, and parking when you arrive, are all free, but donations are appreciated to help with the maintenance of all the exhibits and to help the Museum growing.

The museum is wheelchair friendly with access to all areas – apart from aircraft cockpits.
