August at Aldeburgh Museum
There’s lots going on at Aldeburgh Museum this month.
Every Thursday afternoon in August between 1-4pm the Activity officer will be hosting Look’n’Learn sessions and make your own Anglo-Saxon necklace for our younger visitors.
Free with normal entrance fee.
The museum’s favourite storyteller is back, telling his tales outside the Moot Hall on 12th, 13th & 14th.
There are 4 sessions starting at 1.30pm. FREE – just turn up.
Looking for something to entertain when the carnival is over? Come along to a FREE guided Smugglers walks on 23rd and 24th August. Suitable for all the family.
These historical walks are based on Aldeburgh’s Smuggler story ‘Up The Steps’ by Nora Acheson and the dog in the book is thought be modelled on Aldeburgh’s famous dog, Snooks.
