Annual Farrier Competition

When: August 6, 2022 Time: 10am to 5pm Venue: National Horseracing Museum Address: 2 Palace St, Newmarket CB8 8EP, UK Cost: Included in museum admission price Event category: Craft and Making ,Days Out ,Families ,Summer in Suffolk Museums

Come and support the competitors as their shoemaking skills are put to the test in the 2022 annual Farrier Competition. You’ll also get the opportunity to watch the farriers and apprentices honing their skills as they attempt to make horseshoes in just 10 minutes in the forge!

Spectator entrance is included within the cost of general admission. This gives you access to all areas including the National Horseracing Museum, Palace House and the Rothschild Yard, where you can meet retired racehorses!
