Rich in heritage and history, Suffolk is a wonderful county to explore. Wherever you go, you won’t be far from a museum to enrich your journey of discovery. Each one is full of objects and stories to pique your interest and bring the past alive. Many of Suffolk’s museums are run entirely by volunteers. Opening times vary but some museums may be able to make additional arrangements for group visits. To locate a museum go to our interactive map where you will also find an alphabetical list. You can also find out about Suffolk Museum of The Year , Object of the Year , and Summer in Suffolk Museums. Or, why not take a look at the all new Summer Discovery Club for children aged 7-11 at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village, Gainsborough's House and the National Horseracing Museum?
